discovery service get the error on accessing it through wcf service in asp.net applciation

Our discovery service is on dev.company.com and not disc

Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: 'https://hostname.company.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc?wsdl'.

WCF Test client gets the result successfuly but on accessing it on ASP.net applcaitioon the above error is thrown both in server and accessing out in client machines

Thanks in Advvance

Hi tandurkarganesh,

I'm not sure your description is related to my tool problem...

Can you elaborate about the ASP.Net application...

tandurkarganesh wrote Nov 23, 2011 at 4:51 AM

Hi... Thanks for the reply

its not related to any of your tool.

Here Server Address would be modelsdev.world.com
        config.ServerAddress = ServerName;
        if (String.IsNullOrWhiteSpace(config.ServerAddress) || config.ServerAddress.EndsWith("crm.dynamics.com"))
        {
            config.DiscoveryUri =  new Uri ("https://dev.crm.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc");
        }
        //// Does the server use Secure Socket Layer (https)?
        else if (ssl)
            config.DiscoveryUri = new Uri(String.Format("https://{0}/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc", config.ServerAddress));
        else
            config.DiscoveryUri = new Uri(String.Format("http://{0}/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc", config.ServerAddress));
In Server WCF Test Client [inbuilt UI Testing tool] its execting successfully whereas, on consuming the wcf service in any of the asp.net applciation its not working, Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved, because of the above url,

Same thing is working if it is consumed in webservices. Do I need to give any bindings or endpoints for them...,

any help?
